One of the things that I love about the Spring and Summer season, is that most of the clothes are interchangeable between the seasons. I initially bought this Yellow Floral Fit and Flare Dress dress during Spring and didn’t end up wearing it until the summer. The colors are vibrant enough for both seasons even though I don’t limit myself to wearing things during a specific season. Plus living in Miami definitely helps with that. The vibrant colors of this dress is what initially grabbed my attention but I completely fell in love with the fit, once I tried it on. I remember buying this dress around Easter, so that definitely was an inspiration for choosing the dress, but of course, I can wear it to any occasion. The cut-out detail of the back of the dress did set it a part from most fit and flare’s that I come across. In keeping with the vibrant colors of the dress, I decided to pair it with some fuchsia bow-tie heels. I kept the accessories simple with pearl studs and gold bracelets and rings. I truly wanted the color of the dress and heels to stand out, which is why I kept the accessories minimal. I thought the look photographed beautifully and is super wearable in “real” life (not just for the purpose of pictures). There are times when I want to create a more editorial look that goes great with a concept but more often than not, I’m photographing looks that are wearable to the everyday woman. How would you rock this look?
