I love the different variations that can be done with color blocking. My style tip for color blocking is to choose colors that can still work if one item was removed. For this outfit I have on a blue sequins top, paired with yellow jeans and orange heels. The top and jeans would still work without the orange heels by pairing it with blue or nude heels. The jeans and heels can still work without the blue sequins top by pairing it with a yellow, off-white or cream top. And the sequins top and shoes can easily work with dark denim jeans. Since the entire look is busy enough, I completed the look with gold hoop earrings and gold chunky watch. Although not pictured, I did wear this look with a blue clutch. While some people would never think to put these colors all together, it absolutely works and makes color blocking seem effortless. Getting dressed should always be fun and sequins is usually a good place to start!
